	Zircon Paint Zircon Paint is a refractory coating for application on ladles, furnaces and launders handling molten alloys, where its non-wetting property is an important factor. Zircon Paint is effective in contact with aluminium and high temperature steel alloys up to 1750C. Zircon Paint can be applied to refractory bricks and silica and alumina monolithic linings with equally good results. APPLICATION Surfaces should be as clean and dust free as possible. Mix powder with water to the required consistency for brush or spray application. Apply by firmly brushing onto surface - two coats are ideal applying in a criss-cross manner. On drying Zircon Paint will produce a hard smooth surface. Zircon Paint is ideal for use in conjunction with Zircon Ram, Patch or Plaster used for patching or lining work. Zircon paint is also available in a ready mixed form. Both the powder and the ready mixed can be sprayed as well as brushed. Zircon Paint is supplied in 20Kg buckets.
